In the fall of 1941 the sophomore class was as "green" as any
class that had gone before them, but now they are seen as confident

Davis, secretary-tresurer. Harry Jonas was elected as the
sophomore delegate to the annual meeting of the sophomores at Jefferson

Junior-Senior banquet. The class gave professor, Robert Webb, in
In 1942 the class elected Alfred Miller to lead them through a successful year. Billie Davis was
elected vice-president and Margaret Whittom, secretary-treasurer. The junior class ran away with first prize in the bond drive and had a class party. The Junior-Senior banquet had a theme of a Rainbow. An open house was held after the banquet since because of rationing the banquet and prom were held at different times. The prom was held at a later date.
Senior class officers this year were Billy Northcraft, president; Billie Davis, vice-president; Frances Rummerfield, secretary-treasurer.
The class has lost many of its members and is one of the smallest to graduate for more than twenty years.

A few years ago we decided to meet once a month for dinner at a local restaurant and have pretty much kept this up with the exception of a few times. We also have an annual Christmas dinner at a local restaurant and an annual dinner for as many as can come. BUT our regular class meets every five years now.
On the cover of our 50th book we had "50 YEARS OF CLASS". We were the 50th graduating class of KHS and several of us were involved in helping to create the KHS Alumni Association along with several other KHS graduates.
